National Academicians (NA’s) are professional artists and architects who are elected to membership by their peers annually. They represent some of the most distinguished practitioners in their respective fields.
As the Design & Web Manager, some of my projects include:
Designing and building the institutional website: nationalacademy.org
An online database (think Wiki for artists) that functions as a dynamic online resource dedicated to the National Academy of Design’s preeminent permanent collection of American art: nadatabase.org

and more…

Project: To create an infographic that executes good UX strategy. Not every process will look identical, but the graphic should help people understand how UX design fits into the digital experience design process.
Idea: User Experience Design is about people. It’s about truly getting to know them because the more you know about someone’s digital preferences and behaviors, the better you’ll be able to design for them. It's important to do a lot of research and testing. UX designers challenge assumptions and continually pursue the best design for his or her users.
Work: Graphic Design, Design Research

Users will also be able to hold down the track they are currently listening to and select a friend to share the beat with.

Client: FAYLA
Project Brief: My client is an avid cycler that couldn’t seem to find a single app that met all his needs. My job was to redesign the cycling experience to make a positive impact on all fields of the ride.
To create this app, I researched and analyzed the experience my client was facing by conducting various interviews. I am not a cycler so I couldn’t relate from personal experience. My research enabled me to implement user-centered design to determine the best practices for the product that proved the best experience possible.

Project: To design and develop a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that serves children in developing countries through art.
Idea: As members distribute art supplies and facilitate workshops which encourage children to visually depict themselves and their world. These workshops allow children to explore and define what it is that makes them uniquely them, how their world influences who they are, and what about them influences their world. The Art Supplied workshops are conducted with the hopes of providing children with not only supplies, but also confidence to continue to express themselves in color.

Client: Penn Design
Project: Penn Design had identified a need for strengthening its online presence. Their main digital initiative was the #UPennDesignTweetTalks concept. At the time limited to a number of prerecorded panel discussions about undergraduate fine art degrees. Unfortunately, very few people were aware of them. My task was to expand the concept, integrate it deeper with social media and transform #PennDesignTweetTalks into a vivid conversation platform – where Penn today can engage actively with their students, prospective students and their faculty at large.
Idea: To expand the concept, by integrating it deeper with social media and transforming #PennDesignTweetTalks into a vivid conversation platform. By identifying interesting topics for design conversations and communicating them ahead of time, I could create interest for the events in advance. By letting students and faculty pose questions via Twitter, and letting them vote for the most interesting ones to be discussed,I also created a sense of participation among students – before, during and after the events. By time-coding the material and its associated Twitter feed, I also made it possible for viewers to take part in the events afterwards – and join in the discussion in “faux realtime”.

Project: To create a platform intended to help educate consumers on how to make SMARTER buying decisions.
Challenge: To make sure the platform included innovative advertising formats, campaign setup, quality assurance and trafficking, as well as insight from reporting and research.
Idea: Online shopping may be convenient, but it lacks the personal advice you often find when shopping in-store. Although we often save time buying products online, we sometimes find ourselves spending countless hours researching which product features are right for our unique situation. In the end, it takes longer to do all of that than if we had simply driven to a store, asked someone for product advice, and then drove back home. Think of the SMARTER platform as an online version of a helpful store employee who gives you great advice on which item is the right or SMART one for your situation.
Work: UX/UI Design, Website Wireframe, Responsive Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, Mobile and iPad Integration, Branding.
Project: To create an identity for a children's brand located in Miami, Florida. The designs needed to be child friendly and playful. Never sacrificing substance for style, Datdot clothing is always made from the highest quality fabrics.
Idea: The department is divided between fashion, toys, footwear, nursery and accessories, with each area having its own bold and unique personality. Datdot, is a whimsical brand that can be described as a fusion of bright and colorful fashion forward elements. It exudes a fun, natural, active, fresh, playful and wholesome perspective of the world. The loose, handwritten quality feels at home in a place focused on fantasy.

Prospective patients often search the internet to find dental care and it is critical to provide the right impression and credibility through web design.
Web-based services are changing the way dental practices and patients communicate by providing websites that generate leads and improve user experience, such as Custom Website Design and Development, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Management (SMM).
